I dunno' about your noise, but it's never a bad idea to have a complaint listed in the official service record.
Saab has a special procedure when or if "no problem found" is the result, that gets the car special scruitny, by more than one set of eyes and ears, as "no problem found" is a major source of customer dissatisfaction and Saab is taking very positive steps to avoid that.
Could the noise you're describing have anything to do with the lock-up torque converter unlocking? That would happen at "slow" speeds of 30-40 mph.
Cars make noise. Probably as often as a car makes an actual "repair me" noise, an owner will become become hyper sensitive to a normal noise.
