No- this does not sound reasonable under any normal use, not at 20K. We are just getting ready to turn in our '01 leased 9-5 wagon (signed the lease this morning) with around 53K miles, and no sign of any brake problem when it was in for the 50K. I would fight this under the warranty, as I don't see how they can treat this as wear and not premature failure at 20K miles.
