Cross drilled rotors work like swiss cheese on pads. The advantage of them is that they cool the brakes better then a flat surface. It reduces brake fad by removing any glaze or debri on the rotot and helps prevent warping of rotors. If you rotors warp you may also want to look at a brake cooling kit for the 9-5. The disadvantage to cross drilled is that they humm at low speeds and can be prone to cracking at the holes. The noise can be quite bothersome if your looking for a quite rotor.
Slotted rotors also work like cheese cutter. The advantage is that the rotors remove any debri and possible glaze from the rotors to prevent brake fad. They do not offer any additional cooling. The rotors since the are not drilled all the way though do not make a humming noise.
Flat rotors are nice but do not offer the advantages of any of the features listed above. You could however add a brake cooling kit to help reduce temps and help with warping issues. The cost however might out weight the advantages to some.
Viggen rotors are slotted. Do they work on the Aero, personally I do not know. You can also try eEuroparts for rotors and Porterfield who can make custom rotors at affordable prices.
Another thing to think about is the pad. If you are adding any of the slotter or crossdrilled rotors you are going to have more brake dust. EBC and Porterfield both make pads that are suppose to reduce brake dust.
Personally I like the slotted over the crossdrilled for a daily drive and the porterfield pads. I have never had any good luck with EBC, but they tend to be the popular choice.
