Hello Jim, Have you done the first and most obvious thing there is to do in finding a mechanic in Charleston SC? look back on the main page of this website on the left hand side of the page, blue section, and look at the title called "Mechanics". Click on there and then click under "SC", this stands for the state of South Carolina. I believe there are four good ones listed there. It all depends where your son lives in that beautiful state that a good mechanic lyes close to his house or work place. I used this page to find mechanics in all different states that i travel in and about here on the West Coast. It helps me out a lot. Even though i live in Pasadena, Ca. I've used it many times to find independent dealers in and around Los Angeles, Ca. Have a great Saab day!!!
