I can only imagine the cost of shipping seats here from Hirsch in Switzerland. Yes, I did willingly pay for the car, I tried to convince myself that I would like it as much as my 2000 Audi S4 (which had a performance-tuned ECU and exhaust added). I was dead wrong. We (fiance and myself) needed more backseat room for her lanky growing 8 year old son, so the S4 gave way for the Aero (and she got a TT roadster, which I hate (I like the handling characteristics of a longer wheelbase vehicle). 2002 Aero seats would go a LONG way towards making me happier with the car, that plus some Nordic tuning goodies that I can't afford at the moment. Then again, I could just trade the Aero and get another S4 and shoe-horn the kid in the backseat, right ? ;-)
If Audi brought the S6 sedan instead of the S6 Avant, AND put a stick in it (tiptronic sucks), I wouldn't even be having this discussion. I'd be driving a 340hp, quattro, 6speed beast with tons of interior room...
I'm going to write my letter to Saab and include any who are interested in expressing an opinion and see what happens. Your last question "You did willingly pay for the car right?" sounds like a response I'd get from Saab 'customer service' personnel (I use that term lightly).
