There are rubber isolation mounts there. That might be the problem. If the vehicle when through some deep plowed snow that could create a high external load. Examine the old parts. If the rubber is torn, thats a high load. If the rubber separated cleanly from the steel, thats a lack of bonding and a maufacturing defect. If the rubber is torn and shows a spiral tear, the rubber was torn during assembly from the force of tightening or over tighening them. So some post repair failure analysis is required. The amount of dirt on the rubber where separated or torn can provide some clues to the 'time of death'. If the tear is completely clean, I would suspect possible damage at the dealer. Did the old filter element stick and did they have to fight with it?
