I first discovered Green Diamond Tires (GDTs) in 2000 when I purchased a set of 4 for a Porsche 914. They were stellar! In 2001, I purchased sets for our Saabs (9-5SE & 9-3SE cnvt). Last year we received good snowfall in the Denver metro area and our vehciles had no problem when others were stranded or spinning. They are solid performers that produced an honest 35,000 miles.

Now I must confess. When I see a good product or concept, I invest. I did just that with Green Diamond Tires and acquired the distribution rights to these tires for Colorado and the internet retail business for the western USA.

Please do not regard this post as SPAM. I am a serious Saab pilot and enthusiast. I will look out for fellow Saab enthusiasts that desire the safety, control, and environmental responsibility that these tires offer and risk tainting my recommendation of these tires by stating up front that I do have a vested interest.

Feel free to contact me directly regarging GDTs. Availability is going to be better this year than previous years for 16in wheels in both the Icelander and Inari treads.

We open a US-based plant in Elmira, NY this Nov '04 and will be producing quantity to meet the demand. A second plant is planned for the western US around the '07 timeframe.

Regards to all.
