And the calculated numbers for the crank are found in the end of the original post. I cannot give you a 100% accurate answer until somebody will tell us what the automatic tranny losses are. But the estimate is good enough. BSR does not advertise the specs for automatic cars, but the torque I obtained is close to their stick shift numbers (and it also matches the values posted by Nordic).
And personally, I wouldn't wait for the warranty to expire. Maintenance is the key, you shouldn't have any problems as long as the car is serviced properly. We have several people on this board running Speedparts and other ECUs for a few years now, and I don't recall any disasters. Besides, the dealer would not be able to detect the software upgrade anyway, while an SMBC is visible right away as you pop the hood. Are you planning to remove it at every visit?
