An old wisdom says: If it ain't broken, don't fix it!!!
I was told by my (trusted) German mechanic that any retorquing of the head bolts will lead to a (even nimimal) change of the compression ratio and might trigger problems down the road (higher compression -> more pressure on the crankshaft bearings -> premature wear ... )
anyway - I think that some people just find the 9-5 sooo boooring reliable that they just need to do something to change that state ;-)
