Transmission nightmare

I have a '99 Saab 9-5 2,3t. At about 135 000 km there appeared a synchro fault with a manual transmission with no downshift from 3rd (or from any other upper gear) to 2nd. That fault (quite common in Saab's, I have heard...) was repaired by a dealer (very expensively) and I was happy since the transmission was working properly again. However, after 2 weeks new problems appeared concerning the transmission. This time, right after a start-up in the morning with a cold engine, it is very difficult to switch the 1st gear. After a few attempts the 1st gear can be switched. Also the shifting from 1st to 2nd seems to be quite hard. After driving for a short period the tranny will be working properly again. Before the transmission repairs there were never these kind of problems so I wonder if the dealer has messed something while repairing the previous synchro fault. Any suggestions about that issue....? Thanks a lot!
