Here's my take on it.
I recall three PPC-connected issues reported in the last couple of months through all the Saab boards I'm frequent to. Two low A/F ratio reports and one case of severe knocking. One was allegedly attributed to an existing engine malfunction. Note that all of these were on the B235R engines, I don't remember anyone complaining about chipped 2.0 and 2.3 Linears.
Keep in mind that such things are inevitable with mail-order plug-in upgrades. The only way to do it reliably is to put the car on the dyno, collect the measurements and tune the engine accordingly. That's the way it's normally being done to the likes of WRX, 1.8T and 2.7T Audis and others. Look at Jak's work on the performance board. Unfortunately, due to a limited market, I don't know if anyone does this with T7 Saabs on a commercial basis, except for the Swedes who can visit a tuner of choice in person, and those people who were lucky to meet Frank Stormquist stateside.
Personally, I've had issues with their support, but the end result seems to be OK. I put a bit over 2000 km on the car since the upgrade, and haven't noticed any ill effects so far. I might eventually take it to the dyno again to see if the old throttle body was affecting it in any way (I've already had starting problems back then when we took the readings).
