My car is 2001 9-5 Aero

"There are three recommended tire sizes in a 17 inch application for your vehicle. They are a 215/45R-17, 215/50R-17 and a 225/45R-17. The BFG
Traction T/A 215/50R-17 91V will be an all right choice for your vehicle. You want to keep the same speed rating or higher, because
it will affect the handling of the vehicle. The 91 is lower than recommended. You should stay with or above a 94. This can affect the handling of your vehicle and the wear of the tire.

If the load index is lower than 94 the tire will wear quicker because it is not designed to carry the weight of your vehicle.

There two tires that I will recommend if you decide not go with the BFG Traction T/A. The Falken Ziex ZE-512 94W was rated the number one performance all season tire by Consumer Reports for 2003. This is an excellent tire. My second recommendation would be the Kumho ECSTA AGX 94V. This is another outstanding performance tire..."

The Kumho 716 is better than the Falken and Kumho. Unfortunately
I do not carry this tire in the size that you need. The Kumho
AGX is decent in light and the Falken as well. Honestly I would
not drive on either one in light snow, but many people seem to
like these tires for a year round purpose. The Pirelli PZero
Nero is still a performance all season so it will be in the same
category as the Falken and Kumho.

My questions are

1. Anyone has comments on Falken Ziex ZE-512 94W and Kumho ECSTA AGX 94V ? Are they ok on "occassional snow/light snow (~1 inch)" ?

2. Where can I find Kumho 716 ?

3. Kumho is a Korean tire. How's its quality control ?

4.Is Falken a better tire ? Where was it made from ?

Thanks !

Ken
