It was a GORGEOUS day here in CT so I figured I'll get a head start and treat my paint to a good winterizing. I really miss having a garage, but oh well...there's other trade offs with living back home in CT :)
I wanted to get a good coat of wax on the car before any leaves really started to stick to it when it rained, or for whenever that first snow comes barrelling through.
Went and got a new can of MeGuiar's, and saw the Clay Kit next to it and figured, "what the hell...I'll give it a shot!" BOY AM I GLAD I DID!!! My car has never looked this good whatsoever. I've heard that the clay process can be a bit tedious and a pain, but a local detailer just told me to keep it wet with the solution and I'll have no problems. It went perfect, and after the coat of wax by hand, I could not be happier.
Follow the link for more detailed pics...here's a preview....I was shocked at the results.
