By all means, all are welcome to respond but I suspect only techs that have r&r'd several of these drivelines to know this. My chassis falls in the range that the WIS indicates needs a "bushing and 3 mm spacer instsalled above the washer" at some/all? of the 6 mounting bolts that secure the subframe to the chassis. I saw nothing of the sorts during removal. I assume they would come off with the bolt. Only 2 of the bolts even have a washer above them (front pair).
However, as I was tidying up the engine compartment prior to dropping the engine back in, I found a ~3/4 in. plastic bushing (looks like the insert in the mounting hole of a seatbelt anchor) and a plastic washer which is, not likely to be coincidentally, exactly 3.0 mm thick laying atop one of the subframe members. How many such pairs should there be, on which bolts and exactly where are they to be placed in the assembly sequence? Also, what are the ramifications of going without, given that they started out from the factory that way. Finally, is such info in the WIS (TSBs?)? There may be a pic attached though I've never succeeded yet. Happy to mail one to interested parties.
As always TIA.
