If you're not really gonna' take advantage of the Aero's lower suspension and larger wheels, there's no penalty for the Aero. That is to say if you go for the Aero just 'cause of the power or you like the sport seats better, but you're not fond of the 17's or the lower suspension, you won't suffer. In some brands you can do yourself a dis-service with the sport model. True the Aero will be lower and the spoiler will rub now and then, and the tires won't last as long or be as inexpensive, but the Aero still rides nice in normal driving, not to firm or jiggly.
Aeros come standard with the premium package, HK sound, memory seats and auto dim/HomeLink/compass inside mirror, nice stuff, but hardly a neccessity as is the rest of the Aero differences. A "no option" 9-5 arc is a very well equipped car indeed, leather, heated seats, moonroof, power everything, ESP, alloys etc.
