a Volvo 850 Turbo wagon when I was 22 and loved being a "soccer mom." After being in a horrific car accident 11 years where I walked away without a scratch after a truck ran me off the road, safety ranked higher than performance for many years....still does, actually.
Shortly afterwards, all my college friends wised up, and started buying wagons.
At 32, I now have a 9-5 Aero wagon...best all around car for the money in my opinion.
Drive what you like...who cares what other people think. For me, I look for fun to drive and safety aspects...the 9-5 Aero gives you both.
Good luck!
Paul H.
