I have an 04 Aero SW and have driven the sedan at the Aero Academy. The sedan was represented as being 400 lbs. lighter and the difference in handling is noticeable. Stiffer rear springs in the Sport Wagon give it a tighter feel in the twisties... a feel I prefer. Both cars are quick even with the weight difference. The Aero also has stiffer suspension all 'round compared to the Linear so high speed avoidance moves are easier to handle (had one today... crazy student driver!). Some find the Aero suspension a bit too euro but drive each model if you can and see which one you like best. The wagons hold quite a lot tho I miss the cargo headroom I have in my 900. HTH.
