No, but I'm sure it is several V6s that do make it to 120K without a problem.
We only read about a small percentage of the ones that fail.
It is also a group out there that do hear the noise and get the tensioner pulleys replaced before it actually breaks, many of those people probably don't post here either.
The key point though is the catastrophic result WHEN it happens and the cost connected to it.
It happens WAY to often to be a modern car, especially when other car brands go to 100K before the first belt change and that without having any problems.
