My daughter totaled 2 Saabs (one at 65MPH and one at 40) and walked away from them both.
I got my son's family (2 little ones) a 9-5 wagon for the safety and the utility. You can put 2 car seats in the rear seat of a 9-5 and still have enough room for an adult (say "grandparent") - or you can put 3 car seats across the rear seat if they want to bring a friend. You'll never do that in a 9-3.
