rear suspension --- ever noticed? (a tad long)

Hello: Today, just before the '01 9-5's snow tires were put on today (big snow due here on Weds), the tire shop owner noticed that the rear wheels had what I would call positive camber. (If any of you are old guys, you'll recall that early Beetles had rear wheel/tire negative camber.) That is, the tops of the rear wheels were angled toward the car. I could see it, too, and doubt that it was a visual illusion. When the snows (Gislaveds) were put on, they looked a few degrees top-inward, too. I called the dealer where I had the car in for a just-prior-to-warranty-expiration inspection last Tuesday and they reported that nothing unusal was seen that wasn't written down. (BTW, I trust the tech that did the work.) We have a wagon, and I wonder whether the rear suspension is such that pos. camber is seen when the rear is unloaded even when it's not up in the air. I'd greatly appreciate your feedback. DKH
