and should be left on when driving but I did pull the fuse on them as to be able to shut my headlights off with the engine running, if I need to. As I posted numerous times, it's a pity Saabs don't have dedicated DRLs. It would stop people wanting to disconnect them to save a few dollars a year. DRLs are part of the Swedish heritage for safety. The Swedish have proved that they lives and that's why they are mandatory in Canada. I don't understand the resistance in the US towards DRLs but I will admit Saabs system is flawed. One should be able to switch their headlights off if they need to, without having to pull a fuse and/or disable DRLs and DRLs should not use expensive headlight bulbs, specially with Xenon.
As for the door locks, others have covered the base. Easy tech II adjustment. I had them switched off before I left dealership with my car. I hate it when a machine decides for me. I'm also quite sure it can hamper ones chances of escaping from a car underwater.
Keep on Saabing, and make sure you can be seen at all times !
