Add'l Key

I just bought my first Saab last week, an 01 9-5 SE. Driving the car is complete bliss every time. Can't wait to go to work in the morning, so I can drive the car. Can't wait to go home either, so I can drive the car.
Problem: the used car dealer I bought the car from claims to have only had 1 key fob. I'd feel more secure with 2 keys. I believe my possible options are:
1. Buy an add'l key from a Saab dealer. Price seems to be $235 or in that range.
2a. I've found a key maker that claims they can make a genuine Saab key for $175. Says he's got the tech equipment to do it.
2b. He can also sell me a key that will open the doors and start the car, but won't have the lock/unlock/trunk release bottons for $65. I notice streetkey.com offers a similar service for $85.
3. Hope my only key never gets lost or else pay $2,000 for a new one (not). The keymaker I mentioned in #2 claims he can record my current key's numbers(s?) so that if I ever lose it he can replace it without me having to pay the full $2,000.
My carfax report for the vehicle doesn't mention the original owners name or address, it was a former lease car. Thus, I don't know how to contact them to see if they have the other key lying around the house.
Any options I'm missing?
