Another rear wheel bearing question for the pros Posted by ChuckD [Email] ![]() ![]() |
What's the estimated time to replace in a 2002 Aero?
The dealer I usually work with (a major, well-established dealer) says I need to leave the car overnight. I did my old '74 99LE's in my driveway in around three hours once, so I'm questioning why the overnight. This is an issue for me as I'm several hours away from the dealer who's in my hometown. I try to schedule this stuff when we go up for the holidays. And this car is a lease.
This is another in a couple incidents which have made me start to question this dealer; one I previously had nothing but high marks for. I don't want to name them until I can be sure that it's not just a service manager with a bad attitude and I've still got high regard for their mechanics. But they know me well enough, that I'm living out of town, that I don't make unreasonable demands and bring them my, and my wife's, Saab for all work. And that I'll likely buy this Aero, or purchase a wagon from them.
Thanks.
C.
