I had an instance w/my '98 900s where my garage put ceramics on the car and new rotors. After a real short time, I kept getting pulsating brakes. So being a back yard mechanic, I took a try at finding the culprit. I put new and resurfaced the rotors several times. At first, I attributed it to poor torque procedures but found out that the rotors do not like cearmic pads. They heat up the OEM rotors and warp them very quick. After I went to OEM pads, it never happened again. If you use non-OEM pads, your rotors will warp. Period. Believe me, I learned the hard way.
