I doubt that the hitch wiring harness is stout enough to supply the current required to run a powered subwoofer without burning up. The subwoofer panel is on the right hand side facing fwd.

The best bet is to find out where the rest of the wiring penetrates the firewall and run a seperate power lead from the battery (fused) to the amp for the sub. You should pick up your ground as close to the amp as possible to help eliminate noise. Another problem you'll have is the remote wire that turns the amp on only when the car is on. You might have to find a power lead that is powered only when the car is switched to ON. The hitch harness might have that wire. If that wiring cannot be found in the hitch harness, I would suggest using a relay somewhere under the driver's instrument panel connected to some accessory wiring that becomes activated when the car is switched to on.
