If you have a soldering iron, simply twist the ends of the wires, bend into a tight U turn*, solder and flatten with smooth jawed pliers to form your own spade connectors, clean off any remaining flux then insert those into the factory connectors. You can control the thickess by how much you flatten them with the smooth jaw pliers. After insertion, bent wire back behind the connector and secure with a small wire tie.
* might be easier to twist and tin, then form the tight U bent
What polarity, I do not think that the factory speakers are marked.
Left +ve is brown-white
Fight +ve is brown-red
I just got capacitors today. The originals are 2.2 and 12 mF. The caps go into my wifes christmas stocking to mod the 32.5CF's that she is also getting.
You will probably have to, as noted in earlier posts, cut away the upper soft layer of the dash material to allow the speaker to sit a bit lower.
