The front drive chassis now feels tauter, a stiffer subframe, revised spring and damper settings and a new roll bar giving the 9-5 a degree of control and refinement that the old car couldn't muster. The result is a car that is far more entertaining to drive, with sharper turn in and better steering feel.
Got this from autoweek guys... talking about the 02 onwards saabs compared to the 01 ones.
Any views? Ive got a June 01 2.0 model and she drives great. havent had the chance to drive any of the newer ones other than a test drive in an aug 02 Aero. Didnt get a chance to appreciate the chassis dynamics and refinement as i was coping with the turbo going ballistic under my heavy right foot.
Cheers and best wishes of the season to all
Shaun
