These cars could be shifted much quicker if the continuous run up of the rev's during the upshifts wasn't so extreme causing the engine to be increasing in revolutions after your foot is well off the throttle for sure. But I think what is really the problem or maybe just another symptom is how slowly the rev's come down after the throttle is released. I hate to grab for second and the engine is at 4800RPM when the drive ratio is really about 2400RPM. You let out the clutch and thump clunck and all kinds of other nonsense because the car is going slower than the engine and the proper gear is selected. Only happened once. Must be related to the 200 pound flywheel! Definately not sporty. I like to shift quick as well but the 9-5 is lacking in this category. Maybe there is a TechII adj. (ha) I feel your pain.
