I know for us here in the States their are several site sponsors that have much better pricing on the DI cassettes than the dealerships - I don't know if they ship to Canada but you might inquire with them.

It's an easy do-it-yourself job to install the DI cassette - unscrew the 4 screws holding it in - unplug the wiring and pull it straight out. Be sure to check the plugs while you are in there. A little dielectric grease on the top of the plugs is also recommended - and firm even pressure when putting the new one in ensures that you've seated it securely on the plugs.
