Unbelievable.

I get a call from the shipping company that admitted to damaging the hood, and then trying to poorly repair it. The guy calls me, and say he'll come pick up the car and have it repainted. I said no, and that I would take it to a body shop that was authorized by Saab dealer. I went with Marina Auto Body in Venice/Santa Monica area, saw their work, and was very impressed.

The guy ripped into me about how they overcharge and that the car needs nothing but hood paint. I said I want to take it to an authorized body shop and the a$%hole threatened to take me to court!! Um, who screwed up here...TWICE? Not me...you scratch the car, then you repaint it so poorly that a real body shop comments on how bad it is....

I then called the main shipping organization that I used initially, and they are simply filing a claim with the auto shipping company's insurance company and will send out an adjuster. I already have an estimate, and will hand this to the guy when he shows up next week.

Please folks, avoid A Plus Auto Movers. My blood pressure went sky high after dealing with this guy. Talk about bad business...I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy.

Ugh...hopefully next week this will all be over with and the car will be at the body shop...OF MY CHOICE!
