ahh... The defective modified ECU that kept the evap control system solenoid valve open and applied turbo boost pressure to the fuel tank which blew the pump of of the top of the fuel tank!
I expect that someone sent a defective ECU to speedparts and they modified that and put into their ECU exhange pool. I don't think that other tuners that do ECU exchange would be testing for all of the ECU's outputs and inputs to be working perfectly. So I chalk this one up to fate, not incompetance. But if there is a story about how speedparts responded to that problem, and there is, that is another issue.
Could speedparts software be responsible for activation of that solenoid? Possible. But I can't see why speedparts would be doing anything to deal with such functionality. Random data error? Hard to believe.
