My dealer charged me for replacement bulbs at 50,200 miles. I had a brake light, a license plate bulb, and a fog light out. They said the original warrenty expired by the date (I was 1.5 months past 4 years), and the CPO didn't cover wear items (which they said included bulbs). I did get them to take the $35 off for the fog light because I wanted them to do it at 45,000 mi, but when I picked up the car the receipt said "rear foglight was operational", even though I clearly told them when I dropped it off it was the front left foglight.

I also discovered that a few items on the 40,000 mi and 50,000 mi checklist weren't done. I bought the car at 31,000 mi, and had it in to them every 5,000 mi. When we test drove it, I noticed that the spare tire was flat. I told the salesman about it and asked for it to be filled up. When we bought the car later that week, it was still flat. After 4 services, it was still flat, and they finally did it at 55,000 when I asked yet again. Also, when I picked up the car, I could smell a really strong oil/exhaust smell. I looked under the hood, and the PCV hose was disintegrated and hanging off of the engine. Apparently the service tech musn't have felt like inspecting the belts/hoses like he's supposed to. I really have no confidendce anymore in dealerships that they really perform all the checks they are supposed to.

The other thing that really got me mad, is that the service manager called and said the brake pads and rotors needed to be changed (for $500). I told them not to do it because I had inspected them 2 weeks earlier and there was more than 1/2 left. I finally changed them last week at 62,000 mi.

I will never go to this dealership again, which is going to be a hassle since it is the only one in the Milwaukee area.
