Dino,
I still haven't changed mine. To my great surprise it is surviving through this cold spell, but I did continue my search. Canadian Tire has an exact fit replacement battery for the 9-5 (I was showed one) but it does not come in their top of the line series. It cost about 100$, which is about the same my dealer is asking for so it's a no brainer for me to go to the dealer who is next door. I think you can fit one or two Kirkland models from Costco which are the cheapest and have more amps but I would measure carefully before buying one. Don't forget to check the height because they don't have the recessed pillars as on the original to compensate for the low hood. You can always take your battery cover to check. Batteries du Québec (don't know if they are in Montreal) has a GP Batteries G4760 for 90.95 $. It's a 575 amp battery which is close to the original. I don't think it's a lot of amps for our cold Winters but it works if car is in good condition. I suppose the alternator can handle a more powerful battery but I am no expert.
Hope this helps, and please tell us what you decided. Don't hesitate to e-mail me if you need more info.
