Just about everyone here who has an Aero and uses it in snowy environments has posted stories similar to yours and has also found the solution in a good set of four dedicated snow/winter tread tires. 205/55/16 is the recommended size for this car by Saab, and I have used that combination on both my 9-5's now for 7 winters, with terrific results ( NH,where we get some snow from time to time).
