Sloooow battery drain

My 1987 900S Convertible has the problem. I have followed Townsend's method of putting the ammeter between the disconnected ground wire and the battery terminal, touched the 2 until the interior lights went out and pulled fuses until the ammeter changed readings! The only ammeter change came when I pulled the 'clock/radio' fuse! I can't believe that the clock can drain a fully charged battery in a week or so. There must be something else??? It is now winter in Ontario so the car is tucked away in its garage. I've taken the battery out and have it charging in the house and since I now have the rest of the cold season ahead of me I want to find why the battery dies. Anyone have a similar problem. BTW, the battery was brand new in August so it is not the problem and since it dies between uses I'm not concerned about the charging system as with regular use the car is fine. Best wishes for a safe and happy Holiday season.
