...and I say it was a pain.. that I had to grind down the new o2 socket I bought to install the new one. I removed the old one from below , with plenty of WD-40 and a thin walled socket, which is why I had to buy a new o2 to install it. Well now I have a tool I just may use again.
My biggest problem was that I tried to cut the top of of old o2 off with a sazall. Burned two blades up before discovering the tops of them o2 sensors are ceramic. So, I must say to the new project hunter to just bust the top off the thing before trying to saw it down so your thin wall can fit on. Better yet, just grind down a new o2 socket just enough so that ya can remove the old in one piece!
