I replaced the dash in my 88 900S, and I did not remove the steering wheel to do it.. Yeah, it probably would have been a bit easier, just cause the wheel gets in the way, but I was able to handle it. :o) Just take your time, and make sure you remember which bolts came from which hole on the facia panel (they are different lengths). Also, don't forget to label which wires go to what for the air distribution selector. Other than that, pretty trivial, just a big time PITA! Took me 4 hours to do, it was my first time doing it, and the only mechanical experience I had up until then was pumping gas and changing spark plugs. :o)
