Hi Ryan this project is fairly involved. If you really want the upgraded brakes I would buy a '88> 900. I have too much into my car to sell it and get another so I chose the axle/brake swap. You will be looking at buying two more sets of rims $$. There is no choice on the rear e-brake if you swap the brake calipers. You will be forced to move the e-brake to the rear as the e-brake mechanism exists in the rear brake calipers. You cannot use the existing e-brake set-up >'86. There is also some cutting and welding involved to install the rear e-brake. Very expensive and time consuming.
Braking power is dramatically improved but my goal was to fit the 16" Aero rims on a pre '87 900.
I have written a detailed article for NINES magazine outlining the project and it will appear in a future issue.
Good luck.
