In '85, the turbo isn't water cooled. What you're seeing is normal.
When the car is first started, things are cold, and joints don't fit as well. Moisture is drawn into the engine after it shuts down, and water is also a by-product of the combustion process. When you first start the car, this moisture is pushed out of the exhaust (see the water spit from the exhaust pipe of a cold car?), and the first place it finds a way out is the small joint where the turbo meets the exhaust manifold. I've actually seen small amounts of water 'spitting' out of that joint. After a minute or three of warm-up, the parts expand with heat and the joint seals.
This is entirely normal - nothing to worry about.
