I too had the same quest for my '81 and after looking high and low for carpet kits, I turned up absolutely zero molded carpets for the 900 and one cut & stitched carpet.....at the cost of $350. I decided to go with fabric dye and custom floormats. The dye isn't recommended, as it's tough to get good coverage (at least with my brown) ended up looking not terrible, but new carpet would definetly rule. That's what the floormats are for though, they cover most of what is seen. Made the same mistake with the seats, they are cloth, didn't work. So I am having black & yellow leather covers custom made right now, that is not a cheap thing either, about 3 times the cost of that carpet. But I suspect that the wow factor will be the same if not better as when I redid all the panels to black......it's a serious face lift and looks very sharp. I redid the headliner too, which makes a world of difference. Good luck!
