Hey Bogie! What's happening? This particular car doesn't have a MOMO wheel on it as far as I saw, but they could have replaced it. This car also does not have SPG wheels on it, but some aftermarket mags that are pretty classy, and immediately made me think of your car. I also think I know which edwardian grey SPG you are talking about in Cortland, I think it's an 86 (square crappy headlights like my 85). It was for sale for a long time across from the cemetary in Cortland, and yes, it looks kinda beat up for me. I never even got out of my car to look at it, and it still looked beat up. This car however, seems to have very minimal rust, just a little on the driver's rear fender well. The front bumper on the drivers corner looks like it has also been bumped lightly before, as the ground effects have three brass screws holding them on. It was a well done job (as far as screwing stuff back together goes), and doesn't really stand out too badly. I'm kinda bummed out about the whole idea of buying this car in a way though. I just bought that white Jetta a month or two ago, and I also just bought a 9000 Turbo, and put it on the road the day before yesterday for Kim for X-mas;(she likes it better than the 900T). I have really gotten to like this damn Jetta too (the VW freak I am and all). This means that I will have to get rid of the Jetta, the 85 900T, and the 73 Bus. To TOP IT ALL OFFFFFF THIS WEEK I FOUND A PERTY DANG NICE VW THING FOR SALE RIGHT HERE IN ITHACA!!!!! Man, what a horrible situation. SO many cars, so few places to put them. Not to mention that my credit card balance goes higher and higher all the time. Screw it though, dammit, I've always wanted an SPG. That's it. When and if I get it, you can come down and take it for a spin someday. As far as the junkyards go, the other day I posted a message about the Junkyard in Big Flats (Horseheads/Elmira area near Loews Hardware/Wal-Mart). At the moment it seems to be packed with OG900's, probably 8 of them to choose from, some of them have some really nice bits and pieces too, especially solid body panels. You should get out there soon and check them out, although they are probably under about 1 1/2 feet of snow. I heard that Elmira is getting Hammered big time. Thanks for the info about the potential SPG, and I'll keep everyone here posted about it. By the way, if your pal doesn't take you up on those SPG rims....
