New SPG9 Advanced Ignition Diaphram kicks ass

Now running Advanced Ignition Diaphram (AID) with my spg9 apc box. Allowed me to set timing to 20 from 15 degrees. Lots more power in the traditional sluggish bottom. The AID does everything promised. More power on the middle and top too. Faster spool up. Able to maintain boost higher and longer. That about says it all doesn't it. Looks great under the hood too. They take a OEM unit, cut it in two, do their magic, and ribit it back together. A bit tricky to install, but good directions provided.
Only seeing flutter very deep into the RPMs and into boost, during road testing only, and only beyond the shift points I would use anyway. One new thing I'm noticing now though, is an intermittent flashing of the yellow "check engine" light in top left corner. Comes on only in these test runs at the highest RPMs and boost. (Maybe 4,800+ & 20+ PSI) Hard to watch the road and the gauges at the same time!
Again, this is a 87 SPG, so no trouble codes available to check, I think. My guess is the box is sensing not enough fuel at these moments, but maybe someone else know better?
