At any rate, the stock system has the wiring for power antenna already in the Clarion radio 'bin' that has the connector for the head unit in it. The wire/pin just isn't used if your head unit isn't set up for power antenna and obviously the wire isn't connected back at the antenna.
All bets are off if you have an aftermarket head unit installed.
OTOH, if you have an aftermarket unit installed, the instructions will point out the antenna trigger wire which is then connected to the chassis harness that goes back to the antenna.
