Had a towing company attempt to impound my 900 last night (89 base model) over a payment dispute. (Blew out a tire, no spare with me. Had to get it towed home, and I had to pay for some of the mileage) In doing so the guy slim jimmed the car, and tore out a chunk of the rubber wiper strip for the window, and somehow managed to make one of the door latch rods fall off. Now the door will only open with the outside handle. I called the towing company, and the supervisor is going to talk to the driver to see what happened. Anyway, I'm thinking my best bet for getting the highest repair estimate will be at the Saab dealer, but I plan on fixing it myself (planning on laying down some dynamat while the panel is off). How do I get door panel off?
