The first thing that comes to mind is that there's corrosion on one of the battery terminals or on the lug from the ground cable that connects to the engine.
Look at the battery terminals and connectors and see whether they're wet and have a crust around them. You'll need to clean them with a battery terminal tool. You may want to do that anyway on general principles. Don't forget to make sure you have the code for your radio, if you still have the original Clarion radio.
