>Is it a case that the idle becomes rough when the car is warm, but OK when cold?
seems very much like this though it must be otherwise. usually idle fluctuates when cold getting steady while warming up. temp sensor OK.
>Is the idle low, or is the idle the right speed, but 'lumpy'?
Does it matter how cold it is outside? Done a tuneup recently, or checked the spark plug gaps?
the idle RPM is OK ~850 but it's rough. seems like a vacuum leak or a bad sparkplug. sparkplugs changed - no effect.
>As always, especially with idle problems, look for vacuum leaks. Check all the hoses for cracks and breaks. See if the hooter valve diaphram is OK. Give the Idle Motor a whack or two, or at least clean it out with some carb cleaner, and see if that helps.
plan to change all the hoses. anyway it won't hurt. AIC cleaned. it got better but the problem remains.
>Just like a programmer. The screen is blank, so you blame the processor, when it just might be that somebody kicked the cord out.
hope it to be just a cord. processors are much more expensive :)
thank you for answering
