If the fan has to be removed it is fairly easy to do. Disconnect the battery, at least the negative cable, first. There are two screws that secure the fan assy. to the bulkhead or crossmember which need to be removed. These will be rusty so be careful not to strip them. Get a good screwdriver and tap the screws a couple of times with the driver and a hammer. They will probably screw out easily after this. The bottom screw will probably not need anything. Unplug the fan and pull it out carefully not to hit the radiator. The radiator hose installation is straight forward. The clamps if original can be loosened with a screwdriver or a 5 or 7 mm nut driver or socket. There is not much room to work what with the other hoses in the way. The tricky part is making certain where the hose goes on the block is clean and free of crud. I use scotch pads and sandpaper to clean it off. When installing the hose, I run a small amount of silicone sealant on the inside of the hose. Good luck!
