This is not a weekend task...
Your best bet is to find turbo car to drive. Second best, find a turbo car as a donor, and swap out the engine, wiring, plumbing, and control computer.
The turbo engine is much more than just an engine with a turbo attached. First off, the compression is reduced, so that the engine doesn't self-destruct under boost. The fuel system is different because you need to schedule fuel differently. Then there's the air and water plumbing for the turbo and intercooler.
Some folks have recommended bolting on a turbo and running at reduced boost. This can be done, but with major compromises in drivability and reliability. Unless you want a long-term project, it's just plain not worth it.
Have you considered a 9000? Four doors and a hatch, and turbos are readily available. The 9000 has significantly more room inside than a 900, and is actually shorter in length.
