Clutch Shaft Seal- Mine Leaking

I wanted to continue this thread from yesterday. My '92S (non-t-5-sp) is leaking (apparently from my posted description) at the clutch shaft seal. It's a rubber-ribbed bellows right above and aft of the differential housing.
Mine seems to be leaking from here and not he crank pulley. I wasn't familiar with this part, its function, cost or how to fix it. Is it a DIY? Townsand lists a part called "SEAL CLUTCH SHAFT 78-SAAB 99/900" PART NUMBER 8710881 for $2.50. Cheap. What's the labor time & difficulty if either DIY or if shop does it? Will this stop the leak? Hope the engine does not have to come out.
The Bentley is not clear on this part or it's function, except to say under the clutch section that possible leaks can occur. It does not show a fix or explanation. Also, if this part is the culprit, what fluid is leaking, engine oil or Trans oil or brake fluid?. Leak on floor seems to be "cleanish" w/brown tint. I just changed the oil recently btw so it appeared to be "newish" oil drippings on my garage floor.
