I assume the engine is turning over, but not starting. Three things go into running an engine - air, spark, fuel. Are you getting fuel? How old is the fuel filter? Do you regularly run with low fuel levels? Does this happen more often with less than half a tank of fuel?
First, you may just have water in the fuel lines. Fill your tank and put in a bottle of drygas. Do this for two or three tanks in a row. If you can't remember the last time the fuel filter was replaced, replace it. It could be trapping water that freezes. If this happens more often with half a tank or less of fuel, you might have a bad helper pump in the fuel tank that doesn't like to run when cold.
After cranking the engine and it not starting, quickly pull a spark plug and sniff. Do you smell fuel? If not, go after the fuel system. Even then, low fuel pressure could make starting very hard.
Good luck!
